USA Softball of Indiana Announces the Appointment of Youth Registration Coordinator in the JO Program

January 1, 2017

USA Softball of Indiana State Commissioner Mick Renneisen appoints Jim Bilbee to newly created Youth Registration Coordinator for USA Softball of Indiana.  Jim will begin his duties on January  4 and will assist newly appointed JO State Commissioner, Jeff Alsip, in managing the individual and team registration duties in the JO/Youth program.

Jim Bilbee – Junior Olympic/Youth Registration Coordinator

Jim Bilbee began playing slow-pitch softball in the summer of 1977.   He began a successful coaching career in 1985. Under Jim’s direction, his teams won a total of 8 state titles, one regional title and a national runner-up finish and a national title in the adult slow pitch division.  Jim has been a member of the Indiana ASA, now USA Softball of Indiana, staff since 2011. Jim has served as a tournament director for many adult events and has also served as a Tournament Representative at numerous USA Softball of Indiana State Tournaments. He currently serves as the Worth Power Series Coordinator and is a member of the USA Softball of Indiana Executive Board.

Bilbee had this to say about his appointment: “Although I have limited experience on the JO side, I look forward to working with Jeff Alsip and Tim Fulton to maintain the level of excellence that has become USA Softball of Indiana’s trademark."

Commissioner Renneisen had this to say about Bilbee’s appointment: “Jim has proven to be a valuable asset to the adult slow pitch program in Indiana. His overall knowledge of softball and his administrative skills will benefit the youth program just as they have in the adult program.”

Bilbee has been working with new JO State Commissioner, Jeff Alsip, and Tournament Coordinator, Tim Fulton, on the transition for the past several months.  Jim can be reached at or 317 796-9291.
